Bituminaria bituminosa aka “tedera” is inspired by a poem written by Ted Warnell. TedEra Bloom is the output of a chain of inspirations. This poem is written for Ted Warnell (a digital poetry artist). In October, 2025, Ted wrote a poem as a friendly missive to me Angela’s Rose https://warnell.com/ali/ang_rose.htm and so I thought I’d make one for him. The TedEra bloom, also called bitlumaria, seemed a fitting plant to enumerate for Ted. Ted is also a luminary in the world of net art and interactive poetry.
