Jetty Hungry fish. This jetty was built to pacify the angry demands of a great many hungry fish. It serves two purposes: it allows my mum and dad to access the water's edge without traipsing through the boot-hungry marsh, and it allows them to see the water beyond the reeds where the fish tend to assemble. This allows them to distibute old bread and dry dogfood very effectively. Other project members: My dad and brothers |

keeping the wood from sitting in water and accessibilty from "dry" land.
The two large posts supporting the jetty sit on concrete plates just above
the waterline. To stop the jetty from tipping forward, two chains run from
the tops of these posts into underground hunks of concrete set several feet
back from the water's edge. | |
