Man in a Turban black and white pencil on neutral paper Milan, Italy 7.20.2000 This man is a stone elevation carved into the facade of the Duomo in Milan. On his shoulders rests the weight of a pilaster (not seen here). One of the onlookers I met while sketching this was a fellow Bostonian.
