Directions from the M50 to Donnington Hall

(see map below)

A: Take Exit 2 from the M50.
Turn onto the A417 towards Ledbury.
Drive about 3 miles until you see a roundabout. (The first you'll see.)

B: Turn left at the roundabout (towards Hereford).
Drive downhill for 3/4 miles until you see another roundabout.

C: Turn left at the roundabout, onto the B4216 (towards Dymock and Newent).
There is a sign on the B4216 that says ROAD CLOSED. Ignore it.
The section of B4216 beyond our house is closed due to flooding,
but the part leading up to where we live works just fine.
Drive exactly 2 miles until you see a sign for Donnington Hall on your right.

IGNORE SIGNS WHICH SAY DONNINGTON, DONNINGTON FARM, DONNINGTON IGLOO,
DONNINGTON CHURCH, DONNINGTON WAXWORKS, DONNINGTON GUMBALL MACHINE, ETC.

You want Donnington Hall. We'll put balloons or something on the sign.
If you come to a crossroad, you've gone too far. Turn around.

D: Turn left at the sign for Donnington Hall.
This is the foot of the driveway.
There is a cottage on either side:
one brick, one grey-- each with beech hedges.

Between the two cottages is a cattle grid.
Drive over it carefully, please. (Unless you're Ian or Chris.)
There is a second cattle grid at the top of the drive.

E: Welcome to Donnington Igloo.
There will be arrows indicating where to park.

omg yay

Note: If you type Donnington Hall into google maps, it will direct you
to Donnington Farm, which is next door. That's annoying.
